Scanning a QR code beside exhibits, your device shows guide contents translated in English, Chinese(Simplified), Chinese(Traditional) and Hangul.

Tochigi Prefecture, located at north east of Tokyo has a mild climate,relatively few natural disasters, abundant rivers, and beautiful scenery, perhaps best represented by Nikko National Park.
The Tochigi Prefectural Museum is a general museum, aimed at acquainting as many people as possible with Tochigis nature and culture.
We conduct research in seven different fields: earth science, botany, zoology, archaeology, history, folklore, arts and crafts.
The museum exhibits the results of its research. There are numerous exhibits such as dioramas of mountains and rivers, indigenous flora and fauna, past lifestyles and cultural heritage of our prefecture.

Many of exhibits have QR code beside them. Choosing your favorite language on Main Screen of this App, by scanning the QR code with the camera on your iPhone/iPad, you can read its expository writing translated in your favorite language.
